Response from the Owner: Thanks for your appreciative feedback Madam. The Resort is built in a scenic hill top location overlooking over 18 waterfalls during the Monsoon season and the plains of Bangladesh. The place itself is a viewpoint. We had named and promoted the Living Root Bridges including the Double Decker Root Bridge, Nongriat that are all located around us. It is our desire to bring development to our Village and provide employment opportunities to our youth and also to help them to interact with people from around the World so that they can see more possibilities for themselves. This was the first Resort to come up in the entire Cherrapunjee area in June 2000. Over the period of last 23 years more Homestays, Hotels and Resorts have come up in the entire Cherrapunjee area and surrounding villages thereby creating employment to over 8000 people. The viewpoints are spread across the whole area as the place is scenic and has much to offer. We do not intend to have our Resort in a busy area too so that the Guests are not to stay in a crowded place but can enjoy their stay amidst nature in a small village environment in relative exclusivity.
